Not all burr coffee grinders are created equal.
If you are going to invest in a decent burr grinder, make sure it has conical burrs. And that it has enough settings to allow you to grind fine enough for espresso and Turkish coffee, and coarse enough for a French Press.
Also, look for a model with a slow grinding speed. This reduces loss of taste and aroma through the beans getting heated during grinding, and also minimizes the “static cling” problem you get with cheaper burr grinders.
