The first thing to make clear about this Melitta coffee maker is that
it’s a drip brewer which grinds your coffee beans too.
Just add water to the reservoir, add beans to the filter basket, choose one of
seven different grind settings, and press the start button.
It’s a great way to save on counter space and make sure your coffee is brewed from fresh-ground beans. We have a Melitta Grind and Brew coffee maker in our office, and it works really well.
And now for the bells and whistles. This model, the “Smart Mill” also has an LCD screen that shows you the weather forecast for the day. It works on FM radio, so you don’t need to set it. It just “knows” where you are and delivers a daily forecast.
Not exactly an essential feature in a coffee maker, but a nice bonus.
