Our review of Green Mountain Coffee’s Classic Winter Blend

The folks at Green Mountain coffee were kind enough to send us some of their Classic Winter Blend coffee.
The blend is available in whole beans, ground and in K-Cups.
We did our taste test with the K-Cups, in our trusty and always-on
Keurig B60. And, as always, we tried it first black, and then with a little cream.
This is a blend of medium to dark roasted beans, all of them
Fair Trade and coming from South and Central America and Indonesia.
What did we think?
We love it, really. It wasn’t the only coffee we tasted over the weekend, but this was our favorite.
One of our group immediately described it as “comfy”. And that’s true...it almost has the feel of
“the hot chocolate of coffees”, with a hint of sweetness to it. Another thing we like about it is that it holds its taste well, with or without cream. The cream just adds an additional mellow touch.
This may not be the #1 price deal out there today, but it’s certainly a best buy for our money when it comes to taste. You can get it in any shape or form...as beans or ground...regular, decaf or flavored...or in K-Cups.
But hurry, this is a limited edition blend, and it won't be available after the beginning of March.
The Deal: Just $8.49 for a ten ounce bag of this Classic Winter Blend, or $13.95 for a box of 25 k-Cups.
