It may not be quite as convenient as a one cup brewer, but this mill and brew coffee maker certainly takes some of the hassle out of grinding beans and brewing coffee.
You simply add the whole beans to the grinding chamber, add water to the reservoir and press one button. The Melitta grinds the beans and then immediately starts dripping hot water through the ground coffee and into the carafe.
In other words, you get coffee made with fresh ground coffee, but without the hassle of grinding the beans separately and having to add them to the brewer.
We have had one of these Melitta brewers for a few years now, and it has never let us down. And we like the fact that it has a metal filter cup, so we don’t have to buy or handle any wet paper filters after brewing.
