Colombian Supremo is a very popular coffee, renowned for its aroma and mild, fruity tones.
But one thing people get a little confused about is the “Supremo” part.
Many coffee descriptions include the name of the region in which the coffee is grown. But Supremo is not a region, it is a description of the size of the coffee beans.
Supremo beans are grown in many areas of Colombia. But those which come from the Popayán region have a special taste all of their own. The high altitude, specific soil conditions and cool temperatures all contribute to its unique and memorable taste.
