Yes, it uses coffee pods…so you can make one cup at a time with minimum fuss and bother.

But better still, it takes ground coffee too.

In the same pod holder you use for the coffee pod, you can also scoop in loose coffee and make just one cup of coffee.

The pod holder and the filter for the loose coffee are one and the same. The pod holder is a metal sieve. (No messy paper coffee filters to deal with.)

The upside to this machine is that you can still go for the super-convenience of using coffee pods...and you can also save money and choose from a wider range of coffees by using ground coffee.
